As a Senior Regulatory Counsel at Barchester Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment on a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and advising on contracts, data protection matters, and assisting with inquest management and other regulatory compliance issues.

Barchester Healthcare is a leading healthcare provider, and this role will provide the chance to work on high-profile cases and projects that impact the company's growth and development.

You will be part of a dynamic team that takes a hands-on approach to legal matters, and we are looking for a self-starter with excellent contract law knowledge and experience in a regulated sector.

This role would be suitable for a practising solicitor who has in-house legal experience or is keen to make the move from private practice, and is seeking a rewarding career working for a major healthcare provider.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years PQE with a current practising certificate
  • Strong contract law knowledge and an understanding of B2B and B2C law
  • Confidence, personability, and great communication skills
  • In-house legal experience and/or top-tier law firm experience desired but not essential
Responsibilities:

This role will involve working on commercial contracts, including Master Services Agreements, Framework Agreements, and Supply of Goods and Services Agreements. You will also be responsible for technology contracts, data protection work, and inquests/regulatory matters.

We offer a competitive salary, 25 days' annual leave (pro-rata), plus bank holidays, and remote working options. The estimated salary for this role is £60,000-£80,000 per year.
