Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths to demonstrate academic proficiency.

Experience:

  • Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting to apply knowledge and skills effectively.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning processes to provide targeted support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification to ensure the health and safety of students and staff.
  • Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) support to enhance expertise and knowledge.

Working Conditions:

  • This role involves working within a school environment, following school hours and term times, to provide consistent support and guidance.
  • The candidate may also assist with extracurricular activities and events to promote student engagement and well-being.
