About this Opportunity

At Lloyds Banking Group, we're seeking a skilled Configuration Engineer to join our dynamic Debt Manager Recoveries team in Chester. As a key member of our Engineering Config Community, you'll play a pivotal role in the next stage of our transformation journey, helping us create a leading experience to support customers before, during, and after financial difficulty.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement configuration changes to our Debt Manager Recoveries system, ensuring operational stability, robustness, and resilience.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert input into systems development, integrations, and architecture.
  • Offer technical leadership and guidance, including coaching and mentoring of the team.
  • Participate in the success of the wider Engineering Config Community, sharing your knowledge and experiences to grow capability.
  • Collaborate with others to meet shared objectives, promoting a culture of collaboration and open communication.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Experience with the Collections and Recoveries Debt Manager System Release 11.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL skills to query, analyse, and manipulate data.
  • Experience in version control, ideally Git or similar.
  • Knowledge of Debt Manager Release 6.2, BULK Data Loader, and DevOps tools.
