Fleet Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Technician to join our team at Culina Asset Management. As a Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our diverse fleet of vehicles and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair vehicles and trailers to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic faults.
  • Overhaul electrical equipment and components.
  • Set up and operate machine tools and equipment.
  • Perform welding and metalworking tasks.
  • Prepare vehicles for Department of Transport (MOT) testing.
  • Order and manage parts and stores.
  • Support team members, including Apprentice Technicians.
  • Accurately record time and details of completed jobs.
  • Carry out inspections and repairs of workshop equipment.
Requirements:
  • HGV L3 in vehicle maintenance or equivalent qualification.
  • Cat C+E licence highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively.
  • Must be hardworking and self-motivated.
  • Ability to tackle all aspects of repair and servicing.
  • Diagnostics skills/qualifications – desirable.
  • Fleet experience.
