Fleet Technician (VN3363)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to join our team at Eurovia UK Ltd. As a key member of our fleet operations, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet equipment, adhering to manufacturer instructions and company standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of vehicle and plant systems, including hydraulics, electrics, and electronics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and efficient use of resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, participating in training and professional development opportunities as needed.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds in commercial/plant vehicle repairs equivalent and LGV Class 1 or 2 and CPC in transport.
  • Banksman, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, and Current Driving License.
  • CSCS card if client requirement, HGV, and Emergency First Aid Skills.
  • PC Literate and Experience in Mig and Arc welding, Hydraulics, and Electrics.
  • Understanding of electronics and Health & Safety Procedures.

  • Enthusiasm, team player, flexible in terms of hours worked and attitude.
  • Previous good attendance and prepared not to smoke in working hours.
