Fleet Technician Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to join our team at Eurovia UK Ltd. As a Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment
  • Conduct vehicle defect inspections and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal vehicle performance
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer instructions and industry best practices

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of vehicles and plant
  • City & Guilds in commercial/plant vehicle repairs equivalent and LGV Class 1 or 2 and CPC in transport
  • Banksman, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, and Current Driving License
  • CSCS card if client requirement, HGV, and Emergency First Aid Skills
  • PC Literate and Experience in Mig and Arc welding, Hydraulics, and Electrics
  • Understanding of electronics and Health & Safety Procedures

Personal Qualities:

  • Enthusiasm, team player, flexible in terms of hours worked and attitude
  • Previous good attendance and prepared not to smoke in working hours
