Nursery Educator Leadership Position

We are thrilled to collaborate with a highly respected nursery school near Cambridge in their quest to find a skilled Nursery Nurse or Room Leader. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality early years education and fostering a supportive environment for children to reach their full potential.

Main Duties:

  • To ensure all children have access to the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, leading the planning and implementation process.
  • To promote the overall development, safety, and well-being of the children, addressing any challenging behaviors.
  • To stay up-to-date with the nursery's safeguarding policies and protocols.
  • To work collaboratively with the team to design, prepare, and deliver activities tailored to the unique needs of each child, including those with special educational requirements.
  • To contribute to creating a welcoming, happy, safe, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • To develop an understanding of diverse cultures and traditions, incorporating these aspects into daily routines.
  • To assist in maintaining a secure and safe environment for children.
  • To participate in regular staff meetings and contribute to the nursery's success.
  • To be a positive influence and support new staff members as they settle into the nursery environment.
