Job Title: Pastry Chef de Partie - Luxury Hotel

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team at a 5-star luxury hotel in Central London. As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Pastry Chef in daily kitchen operations, preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, and supervising and training kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef in daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to established standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every aspect of food preparation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth workflow and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Contribute creative ideas to menu development and special events, staying up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques.
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or in a similar role, with a strong background in pastry arts and a passion for innovative cooking techniques.
  • Luxury restaurant or hotel experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong culinary skills, including knowledge of various cuisines, cooking methods, and food presentation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of quality in every aspect of food preparation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff.
