About the Opportunity
We're seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our dynamic field sales team at Aldermore Bank PLC.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in strengthening and growing relationships with our established dealerships, while also expanding our presence in the Swansea, West & Mid Wales areas.
Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with our dealerships, understanding their needs and priorities, and providing expert advice, coaching, and guidance to support their business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular dealer meetings to review performance, gather feedback, and identify new opportunities
- Acting as a trusted partner to provide advice, coaching, and guidance to motor dealerships
- Planning and implementing effective sales development strategies for the territory
- Bringing creativity to generate new ideas and tactical plans to win new business
- Using data to analyse market trends and provide insights – back to the business and to dealers
What We're Looking For
We're seeking an exceptional individual with a high level of understanding in intermediary development and/or knowledge within the UK Motor/Finance market.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to influence across the business
- The drive to succeed and a natural flair for building relationships
- Excellent time management and planning skills
- Fantastic communication, presenting, and negotiation skills at all management levels within a business
- An enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
- A passion for your career with a mentality to succeed
- A full driving licence and the ability to travel regularly is essential
