Historic Building Conservation Assistant Role Overview

This exciting opportunity is for an entry-level Assistant Site Manager to join our conservation team at DBR Limited, working on one of the most iconic historic buildings in Oxfordshire. The role is ideal for someone with a relevant undergraduate education or vocational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site recording, including labour returns and daily diary.
  • Scaffold inspections.
  • Quality control of works.
  • Submission and management of RFIs, CVIs, PMIs, and AsIs.
  • Gathering information to assist the Site Manager/Project Manager in valuing works and delays.
  • Checking weekly time sheet records by operatives for accuracy and advising accounts.
  • Health and Safety management, including toolbox talks, site inductions, PPE issue and monitoring.
  • Maintaining site plant register, including PAT testing and LOLER requirements.
  • Carrying out daily briefings and regular toolbox talks with operatives.
  • Assisting in daily liaison with the Client, Stakeholders, and other interested parties.
