Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Highways Site Manager to join our team at Henry Martin Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential development projects in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist the Site Manager in coordinating all aspects of the project, including groundworks and frames.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of the project.
- Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality control standards to ensure the project meets specifications and industry standards.
- Project Management: Assist in managing project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols on the construction site.
- Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records.
- Site Inspections: Support the Site Manager in conducting regular site inspections and meetings.
- Material Management: Assist in coordinating and managing the delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site.
- Support and Assistance: Provide support and assistance to the Site Manager in any other tasks or duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager from the piling stage.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
