Job Overview
At IQVIA, we are seeking a skilled Proposal Development Specialist to support our global sales team in developing and preparing budgets and proposals for assigned customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Review Requests For Proposal (RFP) and identify key information for proposal text and budget development.
• Collaborate with the proposal development team to prepare and finalize proposals, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Provide support and assistance to other Proposal Developers in the delivery of assigned opportunities, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Lead on assigned projects, developing proposals and budgets that meet customer requirements and company standards.
• Develop a deep understanding of company processes and policies, ensuring compliance and quality in all proposal development activities.
• Participate in strategy calls to discuss customer requirements and identify discrepancies in customer information, driving business growth and success.
• Perform quality control edits on all documents and participate in the finalization of documents and distribution to the customer and internal departments, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Update and maintain corporate databases as required, ensuring accurate information is included in tracking reports.
• May participate in training, coaching, and mentoring new staff, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
• May participate in customer meetings, building strong relationships and driving business results.
• Participate in department initiatives, contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Perform all other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science, Business Management, or related field, and a minimum of 5 years direct experience in Contracts, Proposals, or industry-specific operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Knowledge of the CRO industry and Microsoft Excel, Word, and costing models.
• Ability to interpret RFPs and protocols, and possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and customers, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
