As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our theatres.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of theatres for surgery, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of theatre and recovery areas, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
- Support the scrub team and circulating personnel, ensuring the safe positioning of patients on the operating table.
- Assist with the care and transportation of patients, maintaining their dignity and comfort throughout the process.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, responding to their needs and concerns.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate records, using trusted IT systems to ensure seamless communication and data management.

Person SpecificationWe are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
- NVQ/Diploma level 2 in Healthcare or an equivalent qualification, with competencies assessed in a healthcare environment.
- Functional Skills level 1 Maths and English.
- Experience as a Healthcare Support Worker or Trainee in a care setting or equivalent.
