Accounting Operations Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role requires a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on ensuring the smooth running of our company's financial operations.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role and be proficient in using accounting software such as LEAP or Xero. They will be responsible for processing client and office payments, including office account transfers, bank reconciliation, residual client account balances, counsel expert and third-party invoices, interest calculations, and dealing with fee earner queries and requests.

The Accounting Operations Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring Purchase Ledger and liaising with the HR Director to check payments have been authorized. They will maintain accurate financial records and reports, and provide support to the team as needed.

A strong understanding of accountancy rules and regulations, including money laundering regulations and data protection, is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
