The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned and client-focused Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Building Services expert to lead our team in Glasgow. As part of the Senior Team and under our Partner/Director, the Associate Director will be responsible for the operational delivery of projects, managing project teams, client relationships, and line management of teams. They will also play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative design solutions for various building projects in the region.
Working across sectors such as Education, Commercial, Retail, and Critical Systems, the Associate Director will manage and control financial aspects of projects and collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to deliver technically excellent, profitable projects.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in design and Engineering within their discipline and across Building Services, with a strong understanding of low-energy design and proven technical expertise in relevant design software.
In their previous role, they would have consistently demonstrated the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and teams to deliver to and exceed client expectations, with a passion for creative and intuitive design.
Given the collaborative and client-focused nature of this role, excellent communication and project management skills are essential. Regional or international experience would be an added advantage.
The Skills
A Chartered Engineer, educated to degree level in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, with vast experience within a building services context. Ideally, having more than years of experience in a similar role.
