Learning Support Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team in a secondary school in Tower Hamlets, London. The successful candidate will support pupils with special educational needs, including Autism and behavioral challenges, to help them achieve academic, social, and emotional success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nurture students in developing lifelong skills that can be transferred to various aspects of life.
- Provide one-to-one and smaller group support to pupils with special needs.
- Create a positive rapport with parents and track student progress.
- Support the emotional and social development of pupils in a nurturing environment.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with pupils who have special educational needs.
- Strong behavior management skills.
- Previous experience working with pupils who have special educational needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of best practices in SEND.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure pupil progression academically and emotionally.

Salary Information:
The salary for this role is approximately £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
