Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of mechanical bias maintenance expertise. You will be working on a variety of equipment, including hydraulics and pneumatics, and will be responsible for carrying out planned and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out fault finding, repair and maintenance work on plant and equipment
  • Ensure a safe working environment by conducting regular checks and implementing safety procedures
  • Utilize Agility (CMMS) for workload and fault reporting
  • Carry out all planned preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failure
  • Assist with the installation of new plant equipment and ensure a smooth transition
  • Attend regular training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies
  • Promote Lean Thinking and continuous improvement throughout the facility
  • Maintain and order stock/spares/materials to ensure efficient maintenance operations
About You:

We are looking for an experienced mechanically biased multi-skilled maintenance engineer with a strong background in maintenance experience and diagnostics of hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical control systems. You will have high standards for health & safety and a passion for continuous improvement.

  • Apprentice-trained in a mechanical discipline
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance experience and diagnostics of hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical control systems
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent
  • IT skills and experience with CMMS systems
