Senior Sous Chef

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the preparation and cooking of all food within a HUB kitchen, serving three houses within the estate.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Plan, organize, and direct the preparation and cooking of all food within a HUB kitchen
* Ensure the school's reputation for quality, consistency, and choice is enhanced for students and house staff at all times
* Provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner service across all locations, along with any other ad hoc requirements for the houses
* Adopt a hands-on approach, taking full responsibility and accountability for the food production within the HUB kitchen
* Possess an exceptional drive for preparing and delivering high levels of consistency, quality, and choice across all food services
* Responsibility and accountability for food safety, health and safety, HACCP, and COSHH within the HUB kitchens

**Requirements**

* Proven experience in a role as a Senior Sous/Sous Chef, being able to demonstrate a track record of catering for large numbers
* Have a 'big personality.' Great people skills and be able to lead, develop, train, and inspire your team
* Have a real passion for food and customer service along with bags of enthusiasm
* Food innovation and development is essential, along with being up to date with current food trends
* A good knowledge level of allergens, Natasha's law, and ensure up to date on any relevant changes that would impact the service provided
* Ability to communicate at all levels – Team, management, and client levels
* Superb culinary skills
* Good financial understanding
* High standards and be quality driven
* Excellent organizational skills
* A 'Can do' attitude
* A full driving license
