Main Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the practice team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing patient records.
- Process appointment requests, manage patient schedules, and ensure timely communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Assist with patient registration, medical records, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
- Develop and maintain a positive and friendly image of the practice, providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
Thursby Surgery is a dynamic and innovative practice that values teamwork, continuous development, and patient-centered care. We are part of a Primary Care Network, working closely with community and voluntary sector providers to deliver high-quality healthcare services to our patients.
Requirements- Good standard of general education, including GCSE Mathematics and English (Grade C and above).
- Practical experience of working with others and with the general public or patients in a customer care role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work as part of a team, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing situations.
- Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft packages, email, and the internet.
