Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CHEP. As a key member of our Service Centre in South Ockendon, you will play a critical role in maintaining our manufacturing assets, ensuring efficiency, quality, and reliability improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively work with a multi-skilled team to maintain all manufacturing assets, completing root cause analysis and returning equipment in a safe and timely manner.
  • Perform proactive and reactive maintenance, adhering to health and safety procedures and continually seeking ways to improve processes and procedures.
  • Support site Reliability agenda, identifying failure modes and trends, and driving agreed actions.
  • Ensure all tasks are risk assessed and reported on the CMMS system as required.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mech/Electrical/Multi Skilled Engineering Qualification.
  • Essential skills include cross-skilling, 18th Edition wiring regulations, PAT Testing, PLC qualifications, Abrasive Wheels, Welding, IOSH, and Machine Safety (PILZ).
