Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CHEP. As a key member of our Service Centre in South Ockendon, you will play a critical role in maintaining all manufacturing assets, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively work with a multi-skilled team to identify and resolve equipment issues, driving efficiency, quality, and reliability improvements.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting using a multi-skilled approach, adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and report maintenance tasks on our CMMS system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement continuous improvement projects, enhancing our maintenance processes and procedures.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering qualification.
- PAT Testing, PLC qualifications, Abrasive Wheels, Welding, IOSH, and Machine Safety (PILZ) certifications.
- A competitive salary of £51,738.49 per year.
