Maintenance Engineer

CHEP is a leading provider of supply chain solutions, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in South Ockendon.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on all manufacturing assets, ensuring health and safety procedures are always followed.
- Complete root cause analysis and return equipment to a safe and timely manner, driving efficiency, quality, and reliability improvements.
- Issue work permits and supervise contractors, ensuring all tasks are risk assessed through site-specific or dynamic risk assessments.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and contribute to the development of processes and procedures.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mech/Electrical/Multi Skilled Engineering Qualification.
- PAT Testing, Abrasive Wheels, Welding, IOSH, and Machine Safety (PILZ) certifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A competitive salary of £51,738.86 P/A.
