About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering student to join our team in Darlington. As a key member of our Industrial Engineering business unit, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in manufacturing processes and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply LEAN tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvements in manufacturing processes.
  • Plan, design, and implement integrated manufacturing and assembly processes, managing projects from start to finish.
  • Compile and present data on Key Performance Indicators, facilitating discussions with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement process improvements within the Assembly Process.
  • Participate in the design and layout of new and existing workstations to enhance efficiency and accommodate new tooling and products.
  • Review and develop assembly workstation documentation, including assembly graphics using CREO/CAD.

Requirements

  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Controls Engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a keen willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and experience with Minitab and CREO/CAD would be beneficial.
