This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will provide a 100% site-based experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Using LEAN tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvements across the Manufacturing process
  • Planning, design, purchase, and implementation of integrated manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Compiling and presenting data on Key Performance Indicators
  • Working as part of a team to implement process improvements within the Assembly Process
  • Participating in the design/layout of new and existing workstations to improve efficiency

Requirements

  • Studying towards a degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Systems/Controls Engineering or similar
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and a keen willingness to learn
  • Good level of IT skills including the use of Microsoft applications
