Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance and Repair Specialist to join our team at Michael Page Engineering & Manufacturing. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair support to our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply best practice operation at all times, maintaining high levels of health & safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Carry out breakdown repairs to production equipment, plant, and services as requested.
  • Assist in the running of our TPM system, ensuring documentation is completed.
  • Keep daily records of all work completed and all work pending.
  • Monitor stores stock and usage.
  • Perform other reasonable duties in line with business needs as defined by the Engineering Manager or their superior.
Requirements
  • Experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Proven electrical/electrical and mechanical skills with knowledge of PLCs and Drives.
  • ONC/HNC in Engineering and/or a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship.
  • Holds 17/18th Edition Certificate.
  • Understand and be able to read electrical/mechanical schematic drawings.
  • Be experienced in the use of PPM systems.
  • Work on their own initiative.
  • Work towards improved efficiency in the maintenance department.
  • Be an effective team player and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of working in the corrugated packaging industry would be advantageous.
What We Offer
  • Salary of £45,763.
  • Working a shift pattern on the 3-shift rota, 6.00-2.00, 2.00-10.00, and 10.00-6.00. Rotation starts 10.00pm Sunday night.
