Job Overview

The Senior Planning Officer will play a key role in shaping the future of West Oxfordshire District Council by contributing to the development and implementation of planning policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform planning decisions
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including residents, businesses, and other council departments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prepare reports and presentations for senior management and committee meetings

Salary: £38,850 - £41,950 per annum (pay award pending)

Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in planning or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
