Job Description

Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead our financial systems team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Revenue Management and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic use of Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) platform
  • Develop and implement optimal solutions for financial systems
  • Collaborate with IT partners to improve processes and define scalable configurations
  • Ensure business and team processes are documented and followed
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with treasury, settlement, billing, accounting, and FP&A departments
  • Partner with solution architects and IT to ensure appropriate solutions are implemented
  • Communicate regularly with senior leadership regarding status, issues, and decisions
  • Develop business cases, including comprehensive costs, benefits, breakeven ROI, and measurements
  • Identify resource and budget needs, create risk mitigation plans, and provide operational support
  • Manage and report on incidents, service requests, change requests, root cause analysis, and other operational data
  • Conduct regular governance meetings with business leaders to prioritize enhancement work and the associated backlog
  • Write and communicate Release Notes for the business audience
  • Report on key metrics to senior leadership, including actuals vs. forecasts, operational metrics, budgets, and other metrics
  • Oversee and participate in preparing financial plans
  • Manage and ensure the integrity of how ORMB and Oracle ERP systems are used

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Accounting, or related field
  • 5 years of hands-on ORMB experience and/or ERP, EDM, EPM experience
  • 5 years of business analyst and/or project management experience
  • Successful experience in managing remote resources in a matrixed environment
  • Experience in partnering with vendors and consultants, overseeing and managing deliverables, negotiations, and relationships
  • Comprehensive and extensive knowledge of ORMB capabilities
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to define and maintain strong process and system controls
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Resourcefulness
  • Sense of urgency
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, attention to detail, analysis, and problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and experience with Oracle ERP, EPM, EDM, Data Management, Essbase, and other relevant cloud systems
  • Cognos, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and general financial processes
  • Familiarity with Java and Oracle databases
