About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Aquatic Ecotoxicologist to lead our team at Labcorp. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-quality services in support of aquatic ecotoxicology studies, ensuring all processes meet relevant regulatory standards and are conducted efficiently.

Job Summary:
  • Lead the execution of high-quality services in support of aquatic ecotoxicology studies.
  • Direct and manage teams to deliver services in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of work, reporting, and presentation.
Responsibilities:

  3. Stay up-to-date with current developments in the technical and regulatory aspects of ecotoxicology.
  4. Pursue new technologies and applications of potential benefit to the department.
Requirements:
  • PhD or equivalent, or MSc/BSc degree in an appropriate scientific discipline.
  • Full understanding of the regulatory requirements and the scientific techniques of aquatic ecotoxicology studies required.
  • Experience of client management and technical expertise in the relevant business line.
  • Previous experience in a Study Director role or equivalent would be useful but not essential.
  • Experience of a range of techniques/approaches relevant to the department and/or unique expertise for a specific scientific service.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and supervision.
  • Skilled data interpretation and report writing experience.
