We are currently seeking an experienced Aquatic Ecotoxicologist to join our Environmental Sciences team in Shardlow, Derbyshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality aquatic ecotoxicology studies and providing expert advice to clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in aquatic ecotoxicology, excellent communication skills, and experience in client management. They will also be able to demonstrate their ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.

**Salary:** £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aquatic Ecotoxicologist to lead the delivery of high-quality aquatic ecotoxicology studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Initiating, directing, monitoring, and reviewing all work within the department

* Expediting all works to agreed client/company timelines

* Providing advice and guidance on the scientific, technical, and regulatory conduct of studies as well as for the interpretation, documentation, and reporting of results

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* A PhD or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline

* Experience in aquatic ecotoxicology, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues

* Experience in client management and technical expertise in the relevant business line
