Cybersecurity Risk Management Professional

Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft is a leading company in the automotive industry, and we're looking for a Cybersecurity Risk Management Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Audit department, you'll be responsible for reviewing the areas of Sales and Financial Services, as well as Finance and Human Resources.
Your primary focus will be on auditing Financial Services and Sales entities in the U.K. and Ireland, Rolls-Royce, and other functions. You'll evaluate business processes and structures within the BMW Group, ensuring governance, risk management, internal control systems, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to participate in audit projects conducted by teams across various locations worldwide. You'll engage with all levels of the hierarchy, including Senior Management, to obtain input for the audit project and present your results.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £70,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional level of English. Intercultural experience, flexibility, and willingness to travel are also highly valued.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate business processes and structures within BMW Group in the UK and Ireland, including Financial Services, regarding governance, management of business risks, functionality of internal control systems, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Taking a data-analytics oriented audit approach, identify risk areas while working closely with audited functions.
- Summarize the results of your assessment in an audit report and derive recommendations for improving business processes.
- Ensure the sustainable implementation of agreed management actions as part of follow-up audits.
- Engage with all levels of the hierarchy, including Senior Management, to obtain input for the audit project and present your results.
- Participate in audit projects conducted by teams across various locations worldwide.
- Degree in economics, law, mathematics, computer science, science, or technology, or a comparable academic degree.
- Demonstratable professional work experience, preferably in Auditing (internal/external), Financial Services, Accounting, Controlling, or Risk Management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional level of English.
- Intercultural experience, flexibility, and willingness to travel.
