We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team as a Specialist Rotational Stroke and Neurology Physiotherapist. This is a rare opportunity to gain a highly sought-after band 6 rotational post specializing in Neurology and Stroke.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including Acute Stroke, Stroke Rehabilitation, Early Supported Discharge Service (ESDS), Specialist Neurological Rehab Unit, Brain Injury Unit, Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service (CINSS), and Acute Neurology.
The role will involve working closely with a structured support network, receiving regular supervision and appraisals, and participating in a comprehensive induction package. There will also be opportunities to learn and attend external training, as well as take an active role in your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to develop your skills within this specialty.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe CINSS and ESDS rotations are community-based and cover Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. The successful candidate will be required to use a car for work purposes and hold a UK driving license. The role will be based at Braunstone Health and Social Care Centre.
The successful candidate will be expected to support and train less experienced staff and act as a clinical educator to students from various universities across the country.
A basic respiratory skill set is desirable, but training will be offered as required.
