Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Theatre Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Southfields Veterinary Specialists.

As a Theatre RVN, you will work alongside a team of experienced professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your role will involve working with surgeons from various specialties, including soft tissue, orthopaedics, neurology, ophthalmology, cardiology, and exotics.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing the circulating nurse and scrub nurse role
  • Providing nursing care and preparations for surgical patients
  • Helping with the maintenance and preparation of sterile supplies
  • Supporting SVNs and PCAs during their theatre rotation
  • Infection control monitoring
  • Working and communicating effectively between different departments and personnel
  • Anaesthesia and sedations for surgical patients

You will work a variety of shifts between 8am – 8pm Monday to Friday and 2:8 weekends with time in lieu the following week and a minimum of 1 bank holiday per year.

Referral experience is not essential as full training and support will be provided.
