About the Job:
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Information Data Architect to join our client, a global organization operating within the Life Sciences sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the concurrent running and harmonization of multiple systems as the organization transitions to a new system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure data integrity and analytics remain unaffected throughout the transition.
- Contribute to ground-level projects related to the company's system migration, with a particular focus on finance-related projects within the data domain.
- Provide expert guidance on the evolution of SAP systems, specifically the migration from ECC6 to S/4HANA. Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure changes at the source align with the enterprise data model.
- Engage in data modelling activities and collaborate with other Information Architects and platform teams to ensure data objects are aligned within the conceptual enterprise data model.
- Offer guidance on system changes, data architecture, and data object alignment. Be prepared to get hands-on with the technology, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at various levels to understand project requirements, system changes, and their impact on data architecture.
- Utilize your coding background and architectural experience to understand system-level changes and provide practical, technical solutions. Collaborate with traditional system engineers, asking the right questions and getting involved in the technical details as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Information Data Architect, ideally within the Life Sciences sector.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Extensive experience with SAP Finance, specifically in the transition from ECC6 to S/4HANA.
- In-depth understanding of data modelling, enterprise data models, and data architecture principles.
- Experience guiding engineering teams through complex system transitions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with traditional systems and legacy technologies within large enterprises.
