Job Title: Information Systems Solutions Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Solutions Architect to join our team at Onyx-Conseil. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, cost-effective disaster recovery solutions for our global business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of disaster recovery solutions for key business applications
  • Own the end-to-end architecture target designs with viable interim states
  • Manage data integration complexity and aim for simplification
  • Support and train technical and business leads across functions using agile decision-making
  • Document the technology landscape, interfaces, and data flows
  • Ensure new and modified services occur in a planned, controlled, and timely manner with emphasis on design and implementation concepts
  • Provide monthly reporting dashboards on network security, IoT consumption, endpoint and server security, application security, including SLA and key KPI counters to the director of IT and associated stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of IT transformation-related projects and programs to ensure application of appropriate governance processes are aligned
  • Maintain and update solution architecture diagrams/workflows and documentation for all key IT programs, projects, and ongoing BAU activities
  • Provide timely reports to management and key stakeholders on project progress and risks to delivery, including non-compliance issues
  • Collaborate with the director of IT to ensure IT security policies and practices are adhered to within all regions and groups

Requirements:

  • Microsoft/AWS architecture experience (recent experience)
  • Agile methodology/delivery experience
  • Experience interacting with business and technology leaders
  • Experience designing physical data models (relational SQL desirable)
  • Experience rolling out mid-large platforms from inception to production
  • SQL, Java, Oracle, Kubernetes exposure
  • Hardware and software virtualization techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in a complex IT infrastructure environment
  • Excellent analytical abilities and innovative problem-solving skills
