Job Summary:
The Financial Operations Assistant will provide critical support to the Financial Accounts team at UHCW NHS Trust. This role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Trust's banking reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, general ledger, and associated feeder systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily treasury management duties, including producing a daily cash flow statement and processing payments in accordance with Standing Financial Instructions and internal procedures.
- Maintain the Trust's cash management system, reconciling to bank statements on a daily basis and resolving any discrepancies.
- Ensure suppliers are paid on time by producing the weekly payment run and associated files and remittances.
- Reconcile and clear control accounts in accordance with internal procedures and within agreed timescales.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
