We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team at Michael Page (UK). As an Apprentice Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and Execution of Maintenance Tasks
    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production.
    • Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs.
  • Emergency Response and Resolution
    • Respond promptly to equipment failures and other emergencies to minimize disruption to production.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintenance Procedure Development
    • Design and implement effective maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of maintenance procedures and best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Shift-Based Work Schedule
    • Be available to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Engineering Knowledge and Skills
    • Possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems, including motors, gearboxes, and hydraulics.
    • Have experience with fabrication, pipework, and other related maintenance activities.
