Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Kerry's Ossett Production Facility. The successful candidate will provide technical support to the Production function, ensuring the integrity and correct functioning of equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned maintenance inspections, reviewing frequencies and parts used.
  • Recommend improvements to maintenance schedules and carry out safety checks on equipment.
  • Overhaul and repair of plant, monitoring conditions and reporting defects.
  • Complete stores requisitions for parts and contract services.
  • Perform in-depth RCA for breakdowns and process failure.
  • Help generate and maintain compliance to SOPs/Risk Assessments.
  • Report plant performance using company systems and ensure action on non-conformance issues.
  • Ensure operational key information is effectively communicated to colleagues and other shift teams.
Requirements
  • Time served apprenticeship or formal engineering qualification in an electrical discipline.
  • Continuous improvement experience.
  • RCA skills.
  • PLC automation skills beneficial but not essential.
  • Training experience.
  • Championing of good engineering standards.
  • Team player with a strong sense of personal responsibility/ownership.
