Category Manager

At Focus Management Consultants, we are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our procurement team. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a significant spend area in either Hot Beverages or BWS Categories.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to promote efficient ways of working and drive innovation.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of goods and services meet quality, service, and price requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends to identify opportunities to develop ranges and excite customers.
- Ensure a safe and compliant supply chain for employees, clients, and consumers.
- Implement retention activities related to categories, suppliers, and products within assigned portfolios.
- Strong Category procurement or National Account Management experience within the Hot Beverage or BWS categories.
- Experience of complex supplier, distributor, and client management.
- Strong decision-making skills, with good commercial acumen and ability to work under pressure.
- Solid analytical skills, with ability to manage and interpret data to make effective decisions.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with ability to demonstrate impact and influence across the organization.
- A "Can Do" attitude to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
A dynamic and innovative work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. The role offers a couple of days a week working from home, but candidates should live within a reasonable commute of our office in Central London.
