Key Responsibilities- Raise awareness and knowledge of the Companion Service among care home managers and staff.
- Ensure that care home managers have a good understanding of the service, what we can do to support their residents, and a point of contact.
- Increase our number of trained Companion Volunteers and ensure that they are supported in their role.
- Demonstrate Marie Curie Values; Always Compassionate, Making Things Happen, Leading in Our Field, and People at Our Heart.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and establish trust.
The estimated salary for this role is £18-22 per hour. We offer an excellent opportunity to build on your skills in a charity environment, working with a passionate and committed team of staff and volunteers.
