About Triple West Medical

We've been assigned by one of the top-performing NHS Trusts in the UK to help them recruit a Consultant in CAMHS on a Substantive Term basis.

Our client's CAMHS services provide care to a population of approximately 90,000 children and young adults. The team delivers services through two generic Tier 3 teams, Community Advisors, Urgent Care, Eating Disorders, Intensive Home Treatment, DBT, and an LD CAMHS team. The department consists of six Consultant Psychiatrists and two Specialty Doctors who work collaboratively with Paediatrics.

Responsibilities
  • The successful appointee will participate in a 1 in 7 on-call rota.
  • They will be actively involved in the training and supervision of junior medical staff and support staff.
  • The appointee will lead the delivery of education for trainee medical staff and medical students.
  • Participation in clinical governance and audit within the department is expected.
  • They will participate in Multidisciplinary Team meetings.
  • The appointee will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for children and adolescents along with their families or carers.
About the Role

The appointee will join a trust located in a serene market town surrounded by attractive countryside, contemporary leisure facilities, and extensive retail outlets. The location offers excellent road and railway links to big cities like Birmingham, Manchester, and Sheffield, with close proximity to international airports.

Requirements
  • GMC Registration is mandatory.
  • S12 approval and MRCPsych are required qualifications.
  • The appointee must have a strong educational background and relevant experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
