This role involves working 40 hours a week on a shift pattern, including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a childcare setting, with a focus on child protection and residential childcare, is also required. In addition, a UK driving license is essential for this role.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to meet the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychological, and social needs of children.
  • Work closely with children to understand their wishes and feelings, and implement admission protocols to ensure a welcoming and informed environment.
  • Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities, and meet health, education, and training needs.
