Job Summary:

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant and SEN specialist to deliver person-centred support to individuals who present high levels of complex needs and challenging behaviours associated with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, and SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 support to children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Develop and implement person-centred support plans to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support.
  • Provide emotional support and stability to students who require it.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Strong understanding of SEN and autism spectrum conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
