Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs and challenging behaviour.

About the Role:

This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent in the future. You will be working with pupils aged 11-16, providing one-to-one and small group support to help them manage their behaviour, emotions, and develop their social skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to pupils with additional learning needs and challenging behaviour
  • Work with pupils to develop their social skills and manage their emotions
  • Use sports as interventions to support pupil development
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to pupil support
Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and registration on the update service
  • EWC registration
  • Ability to provide two recent references
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Safeguarding Level 2
