Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team at V7 Recruitment. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for undertaking fire safety improvement work, constructing building frameworks, and installing structures and fixtures.
Estimated Salary: £220 per day
Responsibilities:
- Fire Safety Improvement Work: Upgrade doors, frames, and door sets to meet current fire safety standards and regulations.
- Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and countertops.
- Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures.
- Execute building repairs, maintenance, and renewals.
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Proven tasks related to fire safety improvements, including the upgrading and fitting of doors, frames, and door sets.
- Own van and tools.
- Knowledgeable in current building standards and fire safety regulations.
- Physically fit for heavy lifting tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
