At Matchtech, we are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role involves working in a hybrid environment, with a requirement to be in the office for at least two days per week.

Purpose of the job:

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for commissioning and delivering the Home to School Transport Service through a range of providers, ensuring the maintenance of accurate records of provision and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with providers, colleagues and other stakeholders to devise and implement procedures ensuring a high-quality and safe transport service for vulnerable children and SEND children and adults.
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor performance against budgets to ensure effective monthly forecasting, preparing and reporting on performance and costs.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve the quality of transport provision and deliver budget savings, including invest to save opportunities.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
