Job Role
- Meet individual performance targets and contribute towards meeting team performance targets in line with contractual requirements.
- Closely collaborate with volunteer peer mentors and/or mentors to help manage your caseload effectively and connect participants with resources for housing, substance use, physical and mental health, etc.
- Ensure effective case management and coordination of risk with a particular focus on safeguarding adults and children, including timely notification of concerns regarding changes in individual risk to the Probation Service and adhering to systems, policies, and procedures to support risk management.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team at CFO Evolution. As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of participants in a community environment. This will involve providing guidance and encouraging support throughout their sentence, as well as delivering interventions one-on-one and through group work to assist participants in overcoming challenges and reintegrating back into their communities.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with experience in probation/social care or working within the criminal justice sector. Ideally, you will have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by participants and be able to provide effective support and guidance. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with volunteer peer mentors and/or mentors to manage your caseload effectively and connect participants with resources for housing, substance use, physical and mental health, etc.
What We Offer
