About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at B&Q. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing a network of contacts and growing existing members to maximize sales and create a highly effective trade experience in your local area.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to identify trade opportunities and deliver exceptional customer service
- Work closely with the stores to inspire, motivate, and engage the wider store team to create a culture focused on identifying trade opportunities and delivering the needs of our trade members
- Proven experience in winning business, promoting products and services from previous sales or business development roles
- Industry experience is beneficial but not essential
- Strong Communication skills
- Relationship building

- Financial and business acumen
- Planning and organisational skills

- Visiting customers and project sites to keep everybody safe, you'll need a full UK driving license with over a year's driving experience
