About the Role

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our Integrated Pathology Unit as an Integrated Research Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of digital pathology and make a significant impact on the way we understand, diagnose, and characterize cancer.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating all activities required for effective access to clinical images, biomaterials, and metadata for individual projects initiated by RMH or ICR scientists. This will involve working closely with IPU leadership to create a strong, robust, and efficient pipeline to coordinate and facilitate all activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a life sciences degree and well-developed IT skills, including Microsoft Office and internet skills. You will also need to have experience in translational/clinical project coordination or working in a clinical research environment, as well as a detailed understanding and experience of clinical studies, including operational aspects and regulatory framework.
