Job Title: Trade and Export Specialist

Ripon Farm Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Trade and Export Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Used Equipment sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize opportunities in the trade and export markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and partners in the trade and export markets.
  • Work closely with the Used Equipment, Sales, and Marketing teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Manage the used stock and ensure compliance with export requirements and regulations.
  • Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan to promote used equipment to trade and export channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute a UE sales and marketing plan, including advertising programmes, campaigns, trade shows, and used equipment clinics.
  • Monitor inventory turns and aged stock to promote and sell in a timely manner.
  • Support and work within the Company's UE policies and guidelines on pricing, evaluation, purchasing, and inventory management.
Requirements:
  • Experience of exporting equipment, ideally with a recognized qualification in export of used.
  • Proven sales experience in selling to businesses and traders and/or experience in an agricultural sales role.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Consummate account management skills.
  • Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret internal and external data.
  • Familiarity with statistical and analytical applications of research and data is preferred.
  • Diligent and organized with high levels of attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to be creative and innovative.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and inspire others.
  • High degree of computer literacy with particular proficiency in MS Office programs and ability to use internal systems.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
  • Ethical, high integrity with a positive attitude.
