Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic IT Trainer to join our Exeter office on a full-time basis. As an IT Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our staff across four offices, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.

This role involves training staff on new software packages, tailoring training to meet the needs of different audiences, and promoting best practices for document formatting and storage. You will work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and IT Project and Governance Manager to ensure that training is delivered as required.

You will also be responsible for identifying training needs and designing training programs to meet those needs. This will involve working with various departments and individuals to establish training requirements and identify areas for improvement.

As an IT Trainer, you will have a good understanding of Microsoft products, particularly Word, and be able to promote our 'Ashfords Way' for document formatting. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality training to staff across four offices
  • Train staff on new software packages and tailor training to meet the needs of different audiences
  • Promote best practices for document formatting and storage
  • Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and IT Project and Governance Manager to ensure training is delivered as required
  • Identify training needs and design training programs to meet those needs

Requirements
  • Good understanding of Microsoft products, particularly Word

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous training experience in a legal environment is beneficial but not essential
  • Full and valid UK driving licence
